I have a nerdy side!

I decorate cakes for fun! One of the ones that I created. This one was for my friend Megg at the college. The shield was based off of Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword! 

 Sheikah (legend of zelda) symbol on top, Goomba (Mario) on the left, Mushroom (Mario) on the right, and Triforce symbol (legend of zelda) on the bottom. All of these were made with Marbella permanent eyeliner pen and the colors are from my Crown Brush Kaleidoscope eyeshadow palette.

Sparkly cuppycake made the same way as the symbols above, what makes them sparkly is my urban decay golden eye shadow primer underneath. 


In case you haven't noticed, I get really bored easily. LOL

This item is one of my favorites in the box, I use my kabuki brush to apply this all over my face. This covers small imperfections and redness.

Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray. 4oz bottle $29

 This finishing spray helps set my makeup after I am done applying it. This is one of my favorite makeup setting sprays and I was pretty excited to have a chance to add this to my box.

Eminence Coconut Firming Body Lotion. 8.4 fl. oz $36

I love this lotion! Coconut is one of my absolute favorite scents! This lotion makes my skin feel so smooth, plus it has retinol in it.

Nailtiques Nail moisturizer and formula kit.

 This set helped strengthen my brittle nails, I wish that the bottle sizes were bigger so that they would last longer.

Exuviance Rejuvenating Treatment Mask 2.5 fl. oz.  $34.00

 I love this mask! I find it fun to peel masks like this off my skin. This one actually left my skin feeling smoother unlike most other peel masks.

Murad duo.

Murad Skin Perfecting Matte Finish Primer 1.0 Fl. Oz. $35. Murad Eye Lift Perfector 0.06 Fl. Oz. $35.

 The primer is a little too dark for my skin, but it goes on smoothly. I think I will try and thin it out a little and see if that helps with the color issue. As for the eye lift perfector, I have not used it since I do not have visible wrinkles yet.

Chella Enzyme exfoliating crema mask 2.5 Fl Oz. $60

 This is one of my absolute favorites in this box! The exfoliation is very light but effective. It makes my skin feel so smooth and bright. I would purchase this at its normal price!

Jane Iredale Just kissed Lip Plumper: Milan $25

This lip plumper has a very light color. It goes on smoothly and plumps my lips gently. I love it!

July Birchbox vs Myglam

Opened my mailbox and saw an amazing surprise! Got both my Myglam Bag and my Birchbox in the same shipment!  (about a week ago.)

Glamour theme for the July Birchbox. See it, Hear it, Taste it, Touch it, Smell it. I really want the color under smell it as a nail polish!

What I saw upon opening my box!

From left to right, Birchbox exclusive ear buds, Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint, Oscar de  la Renta: Live in Love, LaraBar Uber in Roasted Nut Roll, Alterna Bamboo UV+ Color Protection Fade-Proof Fluide, Stila Lip Glaze in lights.

As far as Birchbox goes, this month, I loved the box. Big improvement from last months box. 


Birchbox Ear Buds: The ear buds are the perfect color for my quirky personality. If they had come alone, I still would have been happy with this box.

Jouer Luminizing Tint: The color for this tiny tiny sample is golden. While I love the product, the color could have been a little lighter and the sample size could have been much bigger. 

Oscar De La Renta Live in Love: This was my least favorite thing in the box, the perfume smelled like something my mother would wear. I prefer fruity scents.

Larabar Uber: I was not too fond of the flavor of the bar, but it was pretty filling. I love Larabar so I was willing to try this one out. 

Stila Lip Glaze: This was my first time actually being able to try the Stila Lip Glaze, I have been using a similar version for the past two years from ELF and I was in love with that, so i was pretty excited to see this in my box! The color, lights, was a brown gloss, but it actually matched my skin tone pretty well!

Alterna Bamboo UV+ Color Protection Fade-Proof Fluide: I love the smell of this, and it doesn't weigh my hair down that much.

 I was really pleased with Myglam this month!
Circus by Andrea's Choice: I am not too fond of this nail polish, I used it as a base to paint my nails neon green and pink, but the nail polish did not want to come off with my acetone. I think I will keep it around for accenting and stamping, but not use it as a base again. 
Josie Maran Lip/Cheek Stain: This color, Tango, is a gorgeous stain color, it is slightly darker than my lips and adds the perfect little pop of color. (I paired this with the Stila glaze from my birchbox and it was the perfect combination) I am glad I received this instead of the Buxom Gloss.
Kiehl's Oil Free Lotion: I love that this has a very light scent medication like scent, not very noticeable unlike most other lotions. This is the perfect size bottle for my purse.
NuMe Hydro Punch: The perfume in this is a little too heavy for my liking. I will give an update on how my hair feels after I use this. 
Yes to Cucumbers towelettes: These towelettes are a refreshing wipe, but only one problem, I am allergic to one of the fragrances in it and only found out afterwards. 


Overall this month, there was a tie between both Myglam and Birchbox. Both cost $10 a month.

My ELF Haul!

it has been a while since I have been on here ^.^ I was brought back to my blog by a glimpse of a beautiful soul. A little spark of inspiration has come over me! Let's see where this leads.
